The WB-Cruising-line offers an affordable and reliable alternative for the standard cruiser. The newest materials, advanced production methods and modular construction guarantee an inexpensive price.
These sails use a horizontal panel layout and cruising Dacron cloth, which is soft and nice to fold and handle, but whose stretch figures are among the best of similar sail cloths on the market. We normally use a heavier cloth than recommended by the cloth producer in order to increase durability and safety at the same time.
The base of our Cruising-line is a mainsail with either normal or full-length battens and a furling head sail. The furling head sail can be replaced by an ordinary jib with an LP-measurement from 90 to 150%. Our other products like self-tacking jibs, cruising gennakers, Lazy Pack boom covers and spinnaker socks are also often included in the inventory of the cruising-sailor.
Our Cruising-line sails is a good choice if you are in the beginning of your sailing career. The size of your boat is also an important factor. We don’t recommend sails of this kind for boats over 35 feet.
